Feargal has commenced a campaign to take over the 'net. Well - not really, but he is working hard to update and promote the King's internet presence and make their music projects available to an ever widening circle of friends and patrons.

  • 7/1/2008 - Today our brand new, reconstructed from scratch Kingsfold website hits cyberspace. Woohoo! Look around and let us know your thoughts. And PLEASE e-mail us to let us know of any broken links, typos etc.
  • 8/1/2008 - Looks like the second of our several sites may be delayed a few days. Life keeps getting in the way. Check back frequently for www.k-fold.net, our hosting, design, and resource site . . . coming very soon!
  • 8/19/2008 - Breda's site is next. We found this great piano bar template and it is going to look AMAZING. Supposed to be up tomorrow but unlikely at this point as we are in MN working on Tony'[s CD project (see below).

 

Tony Barrs CD

Since April, Feargal has been working as producer of English composer Tony Barr's newest CD, Light Eternal. Here's what's happening . . .

  • 7/1/2008 - The famous Bill Tamblyn is in town this week to add his prodigous talents to the increasing number of tracks on Tony's CD. Three studio sessions, four masses, one concert this week. Bill's son Tom is travelling with him - first time in America! Further planning also takes place on our trip to Minnesota this August to potentially add the voices of Michael Joncas and David Haas to the mix.
  • Finished with Bill, all the piano and guitar work. Now that our engineer is on vacation we move into my basement studio to work on bass and synth parts, and continue preparing for the Minnesota trip . . . looking (and sounding) good!
  • 8/17/2008 - Tomorrow we move the bandwagon up to Minnesota to record the good folks of Cabrini, as well as David Haas and Mike Joncas. Things taking shape, slowly but surely!
  • 8/19/2008 - Arrived in MN last night and went straight to rehearsal at Cabrini. What a great bunch of singers. Lovely warm, blending voices (at least by the time Marcy and Me and done our thing with them). Looking forward to getting them in the studio tonite.
